The ds xl is the same size as the 3DS XL. The DSi XL is a new version of the Nintendo DS that has a bigger screen and different design than the original DSi. I wonder if there’s a HomeBrew channel for the DSi like there is for the Wii. Be careful if you do decide to hack your DSi XL, though, as you run the risk of breaking it and voiding your warranty. While I normally like them, I've read that Deal Extreme apparently sells fake M3i cards, so don't get it from there.
